Includes: Your driver and guide, all transportation, Gold Panning equipment will be provided for you to use, even a great picnic lunch. Package Information: You will be picked up from your hotel or residence, about an hour later, arriving and touring the historic Sooke Museum then to the beach where, you can find fossils, after stopping for a great picnic lunch, and then go Gold Panning! Your driver and guide (Paul) is a licensed free miner and prospector and will teach you the art of gold panning in the great outdoors Back in Victoria by 5:00pm

Text Box: You will experience the thrill of… Gold Panning, Fossil Identification’ Rock Hounding for semi precious stones. While enjoying your excursion, in a wilderness setting experiencing life as it would be for the many gold seekers of the old Gold Rush days gone bye. Located just northwest of Victoria B.C. Historically this is where, the gold bearing creeks exist, with miles of rock hounding terrain. Waiting and ready to explore. Each area with its own rich unique beauty, amazing geography and wildlife.

Overnight Excursions:

3 days, 2 nights $925.00 CAD per person

4 days, 3 nights $1425.00 CAD per person

Gold Fever will provide all accommodations, meals and equipment during your stay, including basic food and shelter, a camp cook who will serve hearty, nourishing wilderness meals.

A gold panning kit consisting of: modern type gold pan, hard hat, pair of tweezers, gold panning handbook, map of the area trails and safety glasses.

NOTE: EVERYTHING IN THE KIT REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF GOLDFEVER XTREME ADVENTURES AND MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE LEAVING. You will be required to bring the following:

Good quality footwear (hiking type boots), a peaked hat and leather gloves – sunglasses sunscreen (optional), non aerosol insect repellent (required both day & overnight trips).

Personal clothing should include – 2 pr socks, warm sweater and pants, light jacket, thermal underwear in fall and spring, sleeping bag. Personal toiletries should consist of washcloth, hand towel and toothbrush , bar of soap (required for overnight trips).

Absolutely Imperative:

NO perfumed toiletries of any kind are permissible at the camp.

This is bear & cougar country and to ensure optimum safety for our guests we request
no perfumes or scented products be brought on the excursions. Adverse encounters with wild animals are extremely rare, however we insist on awareness and safety for our clients.
